The West Parish Memorial Foundation, Inc. sponsors two series of programs.
Music and Musings "At the Meetinghouse" was initiated in 2003 by Babette F. Bach (member of the Foundation and former Director of Music/Organist at West Parish church), to help raise funds for the new pipe organ as well as to provide programs of interest to the Barnstable community and to help foster an interest in the arts throughout the Cape and Islands.
This series offered both music and literary programs.
The West Parish Organ Recital Series became a reality in the summer of 2005 after the new memorial organ was installed that February.
A dedicatory recital occured in June and other organ recitals continued to be scheduled. Featured artists included local as well as nationally and internationally recognized concert organists.
The West Parish Organ Recital Series is a series of organ recitals and concerts featuring the newly installed West Parish Memorial Pipe Organ.
